TAIKAI USATM 2010!

TAIKAI USA is July 9-11, 2010!

This annual event, a continuation of Soke Hatsumi's work in traveling and teaching the art of ninjutsu / Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, brings together instructors at the highest level to share their insights into this fascinating and unique martial art.

For the 2010 TaiKai USA event, we are expanding the group of instructors to bring together senior teachers of this art from across the USA.   Our group of instructors so far includes these Bujinkan Master Teachers (in alphabetical order):

Update:   Due to an unfortunate conflict in schedule, Bud Malmstrom (Georgia) will no longer be able to make it to TaiKai USA but wishes us the best!

Update:

• Extra Training: We will have class at the Atlanta Dojo Thursday night before TaiKai. (July 8th) The instructors who are in town will be joining us to lead the training. Let us know if you're in town early & would like to come by. If you're registered for the TaiKai or register that night, your mat fee is waived. Come on by for some extra training!
• Dinner Saturday: By popular request, we have arranged a dinner for the group on Saturday night at a local restaurant. We'll kick back, enjoy hanging out with each other & have a great time. Everyone will just order what they want from the menu so there is no set price. Dress should be appropriate for an upscale but relaxed restaurant. Details available at check-in.
• What to Bring: Several of the instructors have mentioned what they'll be teaching, so in addition to 'being prepared for anything', we know the TaiKai will include some training with: tanto, hanbo, possibly rope and definitely training swords. Since the weapon this year is the Tachi, that makes sense. (If you don't bring one, don't worry, there will be a few training swords available at the store.)
