Kunoichi Kai / Women's Training
TaiKai USA 2009 includes the second annual Kunoichi Kai!
On Saturday, June 27th, Sheila Haddad (15th Dan, Germany) will lead this one-of-a-kind 'seminar within a seminar' for women only.   (The men will be training on their own on Saturday, instructed by Bud, Moti, and Roy, and the two groups will reunite on Sunday.)
Kunoichi Kai focuses on women practioners' training as distinguished from men's--the challenges and advantages posed by the physical differences in body structure, mechanics, and musculature as well as the intangible differences of background, experience, and interaction with training partners.   Last year's seminar dealt with energy in ukemi and training.   This year will pick up where 2008 left off, looking at effortlessness in basics and the Kihon Happo.
If you haven't had a chance to train with Sheila, this is an opportunity not to be missed--especially now that she's no longer in the US--and will undoubtedly make a difference in your training.   She has trained women around the world, including some countries where the culture is incredibly tough on women, and is very active in the world of women's self defense.
Kunoichi Kai is being held in conjunction with TAIKAI USA 2009, a three-day seminar taught jointly by Bujinkan Master Teachers Bud Malmstrom (15th Dan, USA), Moti Nativ (15th Dan, Israel), Roy Wilkinson (15th Dan, USA), and Sheila Haddad.
